CMWA Recognized for its pledge to Kentucky "Save Energy Now"
Central Motor Wheel of America (CMWA) has earned recognition for their progress in reducing energy usage through the Kentucky Save Energy Now (KY SEN) initiative. The award was presented June 11, 2012, at the facility in Paris, Kentucky.
KY SEN helps energy intensive facilities build self-sustaining energy saving programs. The goal is to reduce energy usage by 2.5 percent per year for 10 years.
CMWA Receives Award for Zero Waste to Landfill Activities
On September 9th, 2015, CMWA received the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection Environmental Excellence Award for their Zero Waste to Landfill activities. Awards were presented at the Governor’s Conference on Energy and the Environment by Secretary Len Peters and R. Bruce Scott, Commissioner of the Department of Environmental Protection. Accepting the award for CMWA were Jeff McGuire Jr., Russ Blanton and Bruce Allison.
